Ending two hobbies

2/6/2022: Beat Fire Emblem; Three Houses for the second time!  While some don’t understand why I did the Black Eagles route again, there were some things I did differently this time that made this playthrough better and made the end of the game seem more complete.  The internet raved about Annette and I was curious where she fit in this journey.  I found out she is adorable by Caspar’s side.  I made better endings for Bernadetta and Lysithea, where they both got married rather than disappearing.  Also, additional support ranks showed new sides to the characters I enjoyed, like Edelgard’s self-doubts and concerns of affecting Manuela and Hanneman with her goals.  Edelgard, Annette, Petra, Dorothea, Leonie, Lysithea and Manuela (and the voice work by Robbie Daymond, Erica Mendez and Hanneman’s actor) made this playthrough better than the first and satisfying end to my adventures in Fodlan.  I’ll see them in FE Heroes and Smash Bros. when I feel like revisiting my days as a revolutionary against a psychotic theocratic dictator.

 

I will post the last screenshots of Fire Emblem; Three Houses, post some screenshots of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, then retire from Twitter.  I’m sorry, but I can’t take the politics and me getting obsessed anymore.  My apartment needs me and my family needs me.

I’m going to focus on music more from now on.  I enjoy it more than video games and I want to retire from them and using them for Twitter shenanigans.  Music is mentally and emotionally healing and video games can make me feel distant from those who I love most with how invested and crazed I get with them.  Thank you for your amazing voice work on so many games I’ve played for at least ten years, Tara Platt and Laura Bailey, but I need to go home now.

 

Edelgard Von Hresvelg, Rise Kujikawa and Makoto Niijima are the only video game characters who reciprocated how I felt about them.  I’ve done all that I think there will be for me, so it’s time to step back and look back on my accomplishments.  There is no future for me in gaming, there will not be another Fire Emblem; Three Houses, Persona 4, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Persona Q, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario RPG, Super Metroid, Metroid Dread, Pokémon Shield, MiiTopia, Super Paper Mario, Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4; Road to Boruto, or Persona 5 Strikers, so it’s time to shift to music, live-action movies/Disney animated movies and baseball, assuming we still have Major League Baseball, what with the commissioner acting like the 45 of baseball, corrupt and psychotic.

 

I don’t want to be a nerd anymore.  I want to be respected and understood, not brushed aside like I’m a stupid kid.  I will sacrifice any and all entertainment from my personal well to achieve this; comic book movies, Godzilla, video games, social media, a rock band that shoots off its mouth, the only things I am unwilling to sacrifice are God, Jesus, my reconciling congregation Church and my family.  Everything else I see as forfeit.  Being a nerd is a lonely, hollow existence where NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU, as such, I’m done with it.
