I am trying hard to enjoy Halloween by posting Metal and Classic Rock on BlueSky, but it's getting harder as time goes on. One of the two primary candidates was exposed by someone who worked with him when he was in the White House previously to admire Hitler and Nazism, not that that's a big surprise given his hatred of Latin Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans and LGBTQ+ Americans. Now, some people have destroyed two ballot boxes in MY AREA in his name. I can't believe we live in a time when Nazis are treated legitimately in
America and set fire to ballot boxes and do hate crimes in my own
state! A woman who acts like Dave Mustaine of Megadeth threw away
someone else's "Harris-Walz" sign IN MY OWN APARTMENT BUILDING! I shared the Associated Press video from YouTube to Twitter, tagged Billy Ray Cyrus, John L. Cooper and Michael Sweet's accounts and said, "This is on your hands." They legitimized the Nazi, they treated him as an average American Politician and now, violence once again lashes out from his disciples. If he wins, his disciples will carry out his genocide without him even needing to declare it, all he'll have to do is pardon them. I want them all in prison or to receive the death penalty for upending this great country. Nazis don't belong in America. They will sever all alliances with Japan, claiming it only produces "Legend of the Overfiend" or "Wicked City" and bomb it out of existence. They will side with Russia against Ukraine. They will obliterate Gaza and Lebanon, then destroy Tel Aviv because they are also antisemitic and order them to convert to their breed of Christianity, where women wear dresses down to their ankles that don't show their hips and only work as housewives and white men are the only ones who have jobs and if your child says "I like someone of the same gender/I think I'm the gender I wasn't assigned at birth" they toss them into the meat grinder and feed their remains to the dogs! THESE ARE EVIL PEOPLE WHO USE GOD AS AN EXCUSE TO KILL!

Monday, 10/21 update
I can't sleep, I've had a lot on my mind, so I'm going to write it out. I was told last post went for a total mood shift, and the fact is my anxiety is really bad about this election. I don't even like posting songs from 2016 because I'm afraid it'll make the same thing happen. There is a lot of fear in Kamala's fundraiser emails and I can't do anything about it because I don't have the money to help. This causes me to catastrophize, which I've honestly been doing as long as I remember. My friend Alan says I need more testosterone, but I'm not so sure, I feel like I've done so many anti-depressants and anxiety remedies that I'm starting to accept this is just who I am and how my brain works. All the medication does it make it easier to deal with and if I can push it out and focus out of tension, it can be gone for a few minutes.
My Church is sending "Get Out The Vote" postcards to Ohio and Georgia, I didn't write any because I knew my emotions would get in the way, but I did ask for some help in prayer. I asked that the voice actors who've been kind to me would reunite on BlueSky and that their jobs would be safe from AI, as well as blessings on this person from North Carolina who wanted music help from the Brandi Carlile group I'm a part of on Facebook. I suggested Noah Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Stevie Nicks, anything written by her or Christine McVie for Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty, and I'm mostly praying for them because I feel Hurricane Helene and the blatant lies about FEMA mean music's just one problem this person is facing. I also got to chat up Brandi Carlile's music to a fellow congregant.
The World Series is Yankees vs. Dodgers, the 4th time this has happened with the Dodgers in L.A. and apparently it happened even more when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers. I tortured social media by reminding them of when 4 Dodgers players ruined "We Are The Champions" last time this happened already. Here's some things to showcase just how long it's been.
-Journey releases "Escape" with the hit "Don't Stop Believin'"
-Nintendo releases an Arcade Game called "Donkey Kong" where you play as a brand new character named "Mario."
-Ozzy Osbourne releases his second (and sadly, last) studio album with Randy Rhoads as a guitarist, Diary of a Madman.
-Black Sabbath releases their second album with Ronnie James Dio, Mob Rules.
-My Mom is hired by the Bellingham School District as a Middle School Teacher
-Joan Jett releases "I Love Rock N Roll."
-Van Halen releases Fair Warning with "Unchained" on it.
-Laura Bailey of Persona and Critical Role fame is born on May 28.
-Ronald Reagan is sworn in as President of the United States
-Ringo Starr releases "Stop and Smell the Roses."
-Rush releases "Moving Pictures."
This is mostly for people I know who are a lot older than me to be surprised at the fact that 43 years have passed and it was either a blink of an eye or a slow, long slog. Maybe your memories will be vague, like me with Bob Saget hosting America's Funniest Home Videos or Nirvana (or rather, Nyevana). Either way, happy reminiscing.

Thursday update
Since it's a different day, I'm going to show a different side of what I think should be the top 10 voice acting performances of the decade so far.
10-Tara Platt-Yuri Watanabe/Wraith-Spider-Man 2
9-Maya Hawke, Anxiety, Inside Out 2
8-Dorothy Fahn, Mercedes, FEW3H
7-Yuri Lowenthal-Spider-Man-Spider-Man 2
6-Erica Mendez-Bernadetta, FEW3H
5-Chris Hackney-Shinji Kaminaga-Shin Ultraman
4-Jeannie Tirado-Jessica Cruz-Justice League X RWBY
3-Tara Platt-Kali Belladonna-Justice League X RWBY
2-Yuri Lowenthal-Marth-Fire Emblem Engage
1-Tara Platt-Edelgard-FEW3H and Fire Emblem Engage
It's honestly hard and truth be told, I'm biased, Tara and Yuri are always friendly on Twitter, as is Jeannie Tirado and Dorothy Fahn, so they get extra points. It's been rough during this NLCS thinking about Dorothy Fahn, because everything that's a success to her as a Dodgers fan is a blow to my Dad and I as Mets fans. I haven't met any Yankees fans online, but the Guardians are worse off and no one's rallying to me playing "Cleveland Rocks," Guardians of the Galaxy clips or clips of their RBIs they post on MLB.com.
Politics have driven me insane. I keep thinking about the 2016 election and how sure everyone was, only to dramatically and tragically lose. I get that same atmosphere here, like we're setting ourselves up to be surprised by the resiliency of the cult, seeing states we thought would go blue go red, and long-time blue states turn red. I think my home state of Washington will turn red, as will Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. The reason why, Trump is Satan, and Satan has a cult that will upend Democracy to put him in the White House. Ballot Boxes will be bombed, voters will be shot and massacred and our so-called authorities will shrug and say "that's life." There will be hostile beatings, racial and homophobic and misogynist assaults until the person dies and the police and politicians will say, "That's Life." Ballot Boxes will be stuffed with false votes, officials will be threatened with weapons and assault and all America will say is "That is Life!" WE! HAVE! LOST!

Topsy McGee review and some news
I was really looking forward to this book, as I am very familiar with Yuri and Tara’s voiceover work from video games and animation and have found the original silent short for the Topsy McGee character with John deLancie and Taliesin Jaffe. The plot is similar to Indiana Jones, an evil organization wants an artifact so they can take over the world (the name “Scarab of Solomon” even suggests it could be Biblically related, (namely to David’s son Solomon, who was known for his wisdom and ability to tell which of two women would be a child’s real mother by traumatizing them with suggested child murder) like the first and third Indiana Jones films, but it’s Egyptian). The art is good and Sean and Topsy are very witty and British, taking their distresses in stride, in fact, the only major problem was that the first issue didn’t present a real challenge to Sean and Topsy. There are some waiters who attack them on an airship, but they fend them off easily enough with the assistance of Harry Houdini. It isn’t until the start of the second issue that we feel our first sense of peril for our heroes, when they are captured by Captain Nemo. Topsy gets them through and Sean admits he could not do that, and Topsy’s father’s assistant wants the scarab to take over the world. He poisons Sean, requiring Topsy to finish this herself and find out what poison was used so her husband won’t die. This is kind of up a personal alley of mine, because since I saw Irene Adler in the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movie, I’ve wanted a “steampunk Lara Croft” kind of character. Topsy more than delivers on this in the finale, I won’t spoil how, I’ll leave that for you to buy this book and find out for yourself. I can say not enough people venture into that territory, and it’s been hard for me to venture myself due to a lack of reference material and interest. The only problem is the severity our heroes are dealing with isn’t really established until the second issue, and that just seemed too long for me, or maybe I just don’t see the menace in sword-wielding waiters when our heroes and company beat them in 2 pages. Aside from that, it is a solid book and worth a purchase and read. Recommended.
I also found out this morning "Date Everything" has been delayed to Valentine's Day next year, so I'll likely use the money on Political Donations and Baseball Cards, as well as more practical things. I just hope I'm not going to play it under a Nazi Regime.
My Dad and I are hoping for a Guardians-Mets World Series at this point. I've been praying the Serenity prayer since going to the Judas Priest concert since Rob Halford's autobiography mentions he prays that nightly, and it's been helpful. I've also been doing searches on anxiety and watching videos of things that make me calm. Still, the uncertainty of the election weighs on me, and I really wish it was more obvious Kamala would win decisively, she deserves to as her opponent deteriorates and screams inappropriate things and blatant lies in public. I just don't know, though, the 2016 and 2020 elections and a lot of my DeviantArt and Twitter experiences showed me Americans can be incredibly stupid, I don't expect that to change, if anything, I expect it to get worse and more dangerous until the country splits in half. But it's something I cannot change, no matter how hard I try, so I just accept it to a degree, trying to nudge people in the right direction and if it doesn't work, at least I tried.
I saw Mojo created "Top 10 voice acting performances of the decade so far." Here's Mine:

Simplifying October
It's been awhile, but I've mostly been trying to handle things myself and talking with my Dad about baseball playoffs. I had initially predicted the World Series to be Astros over Brewers, which shows my accuracy at prophecy, as both were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round. I also initially believed the Phillies would beat the Mets because the Phillies did better in their series against the Mariners than the Mets did, but at the end of the third game, with the Phillies' only win being a walk-off, it was clear the Mets were in charge of the series and were going to win it. I was rooting for the Royals, like a lot of the baseball world, so I'm disappointed that the Yankees beat them. I'm hoping the Tigers win against the Guardians, mostly because they got into the playoff picture in the last 3 weeks of the season, coming out of nowhere, then dethroning the Astros. I'm more tied with the Padres and Dodgers, mostly because I like both Fernando Tatis Jr. and Xander Bogaerts AND Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez. I also couldn't tell you who would win it based on skill, they seem evenly matched.
Outside of that, I saw Judas Priest with opening act Sabaton a couple of days ago on Wednesday, I'm hoping to see Halestorm and Evanescence on Tuesday, and aside from that, I'm buying a comic book that Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal wrote called "Topsy McGee and the Scarab of Solomon" and a video game called "Date Everything." Topsy McGee is a steampunk heroine Tara and Yuri created for fun that they made a short silent movie about which also had John deLancie and Tailesin Jaffe in it. Topsy is based on Tara as a steampunk adventurer and is married to Captain Sean McGee, who is played by Yuri but I'm not sure how similar they are, character-wise. It's called the "Scarab of Solomon," but since they're not Christians, I don't think it'll be related to the Biblical King of Wisdom. Then again, I don't know what King Solomon's Mines have to do with him, either. I do know it's going to be like Indiana Jones and The Rocketeer, probably, and will likely be fun since they do make great stories.
"Date Everything" is a game made by voice actors Robbie Daymond and Ray Chase. It involves you getting a job in a house, getting magical glasses and then, everything in the house becomes a human or human-like person who wants to date you and you do to advance the "plot." Known cast includes the two who made it (Robbie Daymond plays "Hank the Hangers"), Abby Trott as "Shelley Shelf," and Cherami Leigh as a chair as a pun on her name. I'm looking forward to this since my favorite parts of Fire Emblem; Three Houses were sitting down and making characters I like happy through conversation. I'm hopeful that I can do this here.
A great song I heard recently is "Still Here" by former Power Rangers actress Amy Jo Johnson. She has dealt with the deaths of her parents and the suicide of a castmate who played her love interest. This song reminds her and us to keep going though the road may be hard.
