12/6/2019 releases of note

Sorry this post is late, I was busy yesterday and didn't have time or the motivation to write it.  However, I'm going to list some things released during last night's Spotify session.

The Who-Who; This may be the last album from this legendary rock band we'll get.  It showcases Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey continuing to perform music in a variety of rock and pop genres.  The current touring drummer for the band is Zak Starkey, Ringo Starr's son, which I think is a nice piece of trivia.  The band has shown from the singles and early impressions they still have it, even though they only have half their original members.

Loverkillers feat. Tony Harnell; Both the album title and the band name.  I don't know who the backing band is, but they've performed well so far.  Tony Harnell is best known to people who don't listen to hard rock actively as the singer of "Escape From The City" in a Sonic the Hedgehog game.  He also had a stint being the lead singer of Skid Row for a tour.  His voice works well with the hard rock of this album and I'm hoping this band continues for years to come.

Pearl Jam-Christmas Singles; I didn't know of these until they were released, but I'm looking forward to hearing Pearl Jam cover some Christmas songs.  The only familiar one I remember is "Jingle Bells," most seem like original compositions.

Taylor Swift-Christmas Tree Farm; I'm not much of a fan of Swift's since she became a more generic pop singer, but I loved her Christmas EP released over 10 years ago at Target and I'm hoping this has some of that magic still in it.
