Continued Struggle

                I wish I could write a great left-wing, pro-LGBTQ+ Christian story, but I feel I lack the knowledge.  What would catch attention, what would help bring about change quickly, what would work best?  Should the protagonist be male or female?  I like writing about lesbians/bisexual women, but I’m afraid if I make that choice, I’ll be accused of “lesploitation.”  Should they be into what I’m into or only partially into the things I am and have interests that require research?  How do I make this as realistic, gripping and significant as possible?  Time’s running out in America, the beast looms large and fear and paranoia have taken over.  Can I forgive the ones who serve such darkness without a second though or any remorse?  For the years of misery, for all the leaders who let me down, for the feeling that I was never going to be good enough for God because I love people who love people of their same gender.  My ex’s uncle (who committed suicide), the students at WCC, the two lesbian couples and one gay man at Garden Street, all the musicians; Miley Cyrus, Rob Halford, Brandi Carlile, Tegan and Sara, Demi Lovato, Lzzy Hale, FLETCHER, Bebe Rexha, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Elton John, Vicky Beeching…the actors and actresses, Amber Heard, Arryn Zech…the characters, Edelgard, Yang, Blake, Erza Scarlet, Mirajane Strauss, Ilia Amitola, Dorothea, Petra, Monica, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Beauregarde, Yasha…they’re present in so many fields and deserve respect and love.  Yet all the right-wing sees is useless meat for a slaughter they need to change the constitution to ensure it goes through.  I can’t carry this alone anymore, the constant fear of beatings, lectures, fascist dictatorships that declare the LGBTQ+ community non-human and okay to murder.  But all our society cares about is maintaining the status quo, who cares if a few throats get stomped?  I have no faith in the American public to do what’s morally right, only what’s comfortable, expecting a President who will fix everything with a wave of his hand.  And this community will become the blood sacrifice for such a beast.
