I think I’ve finally realized after 2 years that websites with worldwide exposure like DeviantArt and Twitter are not good for me, they scare me with the potential for psychotic cyberbullying and the inability to do anything about it, the lack of proper protection and their angry mentalities, plus that the people who run those websites think cyberbullies are protected by free speech, even when they are arguing minorities are inferior and mentally ill and fascists who support extermination mentalities and laws are true patriots. This is why Trump, Abbott and DeSantis win. I saw someone drew a 4th of July picture with women wearing Texas and Florida flag bikinis, saying fascism, racism, homophobia, transphobia and prejudice is true patriotism, when that is the opposite of the principles of freedom. Maybe not every man who fought in the American Revolution fought for these ideals, but some did, since some did not own other people as property and religious freedom was established, rather than a state religion forbidding thought but what the government permitted. Now we sink towards dictatorships, we lost our democracy around 2010, when the Republican Party decided to not play the game anymore, because game meant they could lose and they wanted to never lose again. Now, the Democrat Party has to not lose to make sure democracy is not lost, this is not democracy, this is single-party control against authoritarianism, which is, in itself, an authoritarianism to keep government compassion alive. It is all because the other party decided prejudice was a banner they should unite under, a banner of punishment and assault that is ceaseless and unrelenting against all but those in their unholy circle. That isn’t “freedom of speech,” that is beating someone in an alleyway for their skin color or whose hand they’re holding, or screaming at them at a breakfast table for 10 minutes because they said a sentence you disagreed with because they are trying to be compassionate to the people who are being beaten to death! That isn’t the society we should be trying to make, that is the society we should be tearing down.
Internet users’ existence defies all capable logic, they worship men as God, dedicating all they are to the point that you’d think they’d lose physical and mental health and die, yet still exist, and refuse innovation in most areas, yet in other areas, the obsess over it and praise it. They make art of an American monarchy and call Trump an American King as a compliment and call Biden a tyrant, despite that being the opposite of reality. Clearly, they are blind, naïve, idiotic and easily manipulated by the right-wing monsters to be the beasts they claim to despise. They create unending pain, and since humans are like animals, we remember pain in order to avoid it. This causes us to experience a ton of hurt, which blots out our positive memories online, such as when we comfort each other across state, national and language borders. I’ve complimented artists in Japan and Mexico, and because of Google and the prevalence of English, they know I’ve done it. I found nationwide kindness from video game actors, actresses and fans, which I can take with me anywhere, and was able to share it with them. Now, I simply don’t feel comfortable on Twitter anymore. The likes are coming from computer programs more than people, the current events are always scary or sad, I can’t help those I like enough right away, or in large enough amounts of money, the activity from those people is dwindling and I keep feeling like I might’ve upset them, it doesn’t even need to be true, I just need to feel that and not see their presence to walk away and not want to be there, the wishlist of video games, one of my 4 main topics of posts, is drying up, with only 5 left, which all could be acquired with a good Christmas, and I can’t try to change the public mindset away from extremism there without getting at least a troll comment. In short, I feel alone, fighting mindless hateful extremists, with nothing else to talk about but how they shouldn’t be mindless hateful extremists. Sure, I get more likes there than on Facebook, but likes aren’t everything. Honestly, I just like posting the Switch Screenshots because I can. Besides, I know I soon won’t be able to on Twitter, soon. If Muck doesn’t write the code so it can’t accept Switch screenshots just for “teh lulz,” I was told bankruptcy is inevitable last month, which to me says Twitter is going to be gone by October. That’s right, by October 1st, you go to twitter.com and it will say “404, this website can’t be found because it has gone bankrupt because an idiot bought it and ran it into the ground. Want to know what musicians and actors are thinking? Too XXXXing bad!”
And that burns right now, because I don’t know if people know the electric/tucked in with a warm blanket/fresh-cooked pizza when you have a cold and a stuffed-up nose feeling to know that Sarah McKnight (author, Life Support), Laura Bailey (Rise Kujikawa (Persona Series), Lucina (Fire Emblem, Smash Bros.), Grace (Stray Gods)), Matthew Mercer (Yusuke Kitagawa (Persona series), Chrom (Fire Emblem, Smash Bros.), Ganondorf (Legend of Zelda; Tears of the Kingdom), Xanthe Huynh (Marianne (Fire Emblem) Haru (Persona Series)), Abby Trott (Annette (Fire Emblem), Nezuko (Demon Slayer), Smash Bros. Ultimate Theme Song Singer) Yuri Lowenthal (Marth (Fire Emblem), Yosuke Hanamura (Persona Series), Alex (Life Support), Probably all male characters and a lunch lady (Sam Archer)), Tara Platt (Mitsuru Kirijo (Persona Series), Elizabeth (Persona series), Kali Belladonna (RWBY), Edelgard (Fire Emblem), Rosie (Life Support), All female characters except that lunch lady (Sam Archer)), Jeannie Tirado (Byleth (girl) (Fire Emblem), Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern) (Justice League x RWBY)) and Colleen Clinkenbeard (Luffy (One Piece), Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail), Momo (My Hero Academia), Elsie Crimson (Edens Zero)) are at least as compassionate as the kindest characters they play, as well as professionals unafraid to share tips with amateurs and people who enjoy stuff like Dungeons And Dragons and Godzilla. It’s easy to think actors think of themselves as above us “commonfolk,” but these people really seemed to BE us “commonfolk,” at least to an extent. That’s what I always like about the internet, David Coverdale’s been singing in Deep Purple and Whitesnake for about 50 years, yet posts silly photos on the internet, Miley Cyrus has platinum records, but what matters to her is “do her fans LIKE the song” and “are they telling her that,” and these people will take time to chat a little, give people likes and give them encouragement. Another not-quite-as-famous musician I enjoyed on social media is Agape, the Lutheran rapper, who helped me last January when I was feeling down and paranoid. It’s not easy being alone, worrying about worst-case-scenarios, but whether or not this is the end for Twitter, I’ve made some good memories, and if that means I need to revisit certain Support Ranks, watch certain shows and fight with the same characters over and over just to hear a friendly voice to remember some good times, I guess that’s just what I need to do.
