December Music Update

Robert Plant with Allison Krauss and K.Flay had good releases on November 19th and Black Label Society and Lee Aaron had good releases on November 26th.  I still haven't listened to the new Deep Purple covers album that was released that day due to being on vacation, but it seems like it might be good, they had a good version of Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" as a single.

This week is the second-to-last major release week this year, with an album from Tom Morello that features a song with Kirk Hammett and Alex Lifeson of Metallica and Rush fame and singles from Adrian Conner of Hell's Belles, Ariana Grande, Slash and Elton John with Ed Sheeran.  There will also be an album from Kenny G, I feel I should mention that because a.) he's from Seattle and b.) a lot of my relatives love jazz.

Since a lot of other people were doing it, I decided to finish my Favorite Music of 2021.  This was rather difficult because there was a lot of really good music this year.  However, between last night and this morning, I think I finally made a list that shows what were my absolute favorite songs this year and hopefully doesn't exclude anything important or include anything I'll consider superfluous down the line.  The Eddie Vedder, Guns N Roses and Slash singles are also for albums that'll be released next year, so consider them a preview for 2022's favorites.
