Maybe I'm finding it

 

               My Dad liked my 1975 YouTube playlist, so I feel better.  I need more positive feedback on personal projects at this point, I told myself due to an aggressive understanding of scripture during my BCC days that I couldn’t trust myself or my joy.  As surch, now, when I want to make personal passion projects or things I want just for myself and for fun, I have this angry voice in my head saying “don’t do it, it’s pointless, your family won’t like it or care.”  I want to post a metal song for each day of October, after Dad’s feedback, I want to make classic rock playlists for 1969, 1977 and 1989.  I want to try to make personalized playlists for Mom, Dad, Andrew and Cortney, though maybe save that until next year.  I want to make a Rock and Roll Women playlist, as well.  Those are accomplishments I’m proud of on Spotify and I want to make a new, more modest versions in YouTube and maybe iTunes, as well, it’s hard to say for sure with that since I’m aiming to get a new laptop this Christmas, so I’d need to start again once that’s here.  I’m also open to other playlist ideas like every year since 2016, my top 200 of the 2010s and others I’m proud of.

 

               I’m getting my last two items from Entertainment Earth, ending my relationship with them due to their tendency for surprise charges at inopportune moments.  With that, I will completely control what I spend and when, rather than nervously wondering if the item will arrive when I’m not in a good financial position, which has happened way too often.  Now, the only thing I will worry about is overspending due to things being in my face too often.  I am good at tempering this attitude, but the abundance of entertainment I know I’ll like is sometimes really tempting.
