Now, I know you've noticed I've been defeatist and afraid lately.  A lot of it comes from the fundraising emails, also I feel much more than most people do.  I felt the 4 years that Trump was in charge painfully, worrying every day he'd write that all LGBTQ+ people and their allies were to be thrown in the permafrost regions of the Cascades and Rockies to be tortured there.  It got worse when my uncle died and Roman Reigns got Leukemia.  2020 was a painful nightmare with wildfires, a shortened baseball season under tightened protocols and massive chunks of time doing nothing.  The only things that got me through it were Sailor Moon, Sailor Uranus and Neptune, Edelgard and Byleth, and Erza Scarlet, Wendy Marvell and Mirajane Strauss.  The only things that got me through the first three years were Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Godzilla, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Whitesnake, Sammy Hagar, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Billy Ray Cyrus and Seattle-area bands.  And after January 6th, you can add Annette from Three Houses to that list.  Now I watch as people or themselves tear a significant amount of them down and I can do nothing.  The pain is severe and I keep thinking why WOULDN'T Trump win, America is full of idiots who are easily led astray.  Him saying "Grab 'em by the [vagina]" wasn't enough to derail his chances 8 years ago and it should've been.  I see the headlines on YouTube of him deteriorating every few hours, the polls shifting left, but is it enough to combat the cult?  He has ministers saying the most awful things to keep people in line voting for him, praising him, considering him the most Holy Man since either the Apostle Paul or Jesus himself.  That's why Faithful America is so important to me.  That's why I endure the fear, because there is a section of my religion that should not be, it is idolatrous, homophobic and violent and I want it to stop being the default "Christian."  I knew all those four years it was going to be the default "Christian" because of Trump and it became that.  People dropped out of Churches left and right, not wanted to be associated with the cult.  I want it gone, and the only way to fight it is to speak up in Jesus' name, say "That man is a fraud," "I love you lesbians," and "Let's have a metal party."  That's how I feel called right now.
