This year was frustrating and disappointing on many fronts, but we did get a good new President and Vice-President and some amazing music. Each of these songs gave me some powerful feelings, whether it was excitement and elation or deeper contemplation or even just a well-needed smile on my face. I am thankful for the artists and their work this year. Since the "Best Ofs/Favorite Songs of" was started to highlight the good parts of the bad years of the last four years, I'm unsure if this will continue. I will say, though, I am going to revise it so I make the list at the end of the year so they're less cumbersome.
