Video Game Commentary/Why give this series cars?!

 I heard on a stream that a recent Final Fantasy game has cars in it as a vehicle.  I know this series has had jets/airships and motorcycles, but when I imagine Final Fantasy with cars, this scenario plays out:

               “Gotta go pick up the kids.” Said Cloud Strife, putting his sword in the trunk.

 

               “Don’t forget your coffee thermos.” Replied Tifa, handing him the beverage in the container with the built-in lid.

 

               “Thanks, babe.” Said Cloud, kissing his wife on the cheek.  He sat in the driver’s seat.  “Bye, dear.” He added, turning the keys (IN A MANLY AS HECK FASHION!) and heading off.  Cloud sighed as he entered a bad traffic jam.  “Aw, I wish I could use Blizzaga to get rid of this traffic, but that’s illegal.” He grumbled.  Unfortunately, a police officer overheard him.

 

               “’Ey, punk!  What’s that, yeh plannin’ on icing these civilians?!” he demanded.

 

               “No, no, no…I was just…thinking out loud.” Stammered Cloud.

 

               “Well, thinkin’ violent thoughts is why the Chocobos went extinct!” replied the Officer.  “That’s a $147 ticket!”  He slapped the piece of paper on Cloud’s forehead.

 

               “Bogus.” He said.

 

               “Inappropriate 90s slang?  That’s another $57!” shouted the officer, slamming another ticket on Cloud’s forehead.  Cloud thought about bringing his sword out, but said nothing and drove forward 20 feet.

I do believe we are missing the "Fantasy" part of Final Fantasy, so, it's just "Final" now.
