Don't worry, this won't be an everyday thing

     As June is getting closer and closer to a close, I'm looking back on it and how much I shared LGBTQ+ musicians songs from YouTube on Social Media.  I don't have any regrets.  I've seen them be victims of hate crimes for so much of my life I had to scream, scream "THIS is the population you're targeting, rock and roll, pop and Singer/Songwriter musicians who just want to create good times for other people and be themselves!"  It gets really hard when you see an old Facebook friend from a past life criticize the Mariners for celebrating Pride Month with a rainbow trucker hat giveaway, saying they should turn to Jesus.  They are a public team for the community of Seattle, not a missionary and certainly not a right-wing missionary.  It is really hard when this "turn from being a confused straight person to a normal straight person or we'll imprison you and assault you" mindset is in government.

    On a more positive note, I said the following on Twitter;

I wanted to see Abby Trott at Washington State Summer Con last weekend because so many people loved Annette and I loved Edelgard and Three Houses and I wondered how Annette fit in the Black Eagles, then she and Tara Platt got in a cartoon called "New Wave."  That didn't succeed ultimately on Kickstarter, but it gave me the courage to play a Three Houses playthrough solely to recruit Annette into the Black Eagles. Annette became my second-favorite character in Three Houses, I made a Mii Gunner of her, I bought the Demon Slayer game just to hear Abby's voice in case Three Hopes wouldn't let me recruit Annette (which it didn't) and I play as Nezuko and Academy Shinobu whenever I play that, just as I play Mitsuru in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.  I love her sense of humor and funny selfies and when something hurts SAG or women, Tara, Yuri (Lowenthal, Tara's husband) and Abby are the first people I worry about. I live across the street from a Planned Parenthood, so it's pretty tough. I have such bad anxiety and depression, too.  I hope those ladies are doing fine and I hope to see them at future conventions. Until then, this is just to make the knots in my guts looser.

One last thing, playing that route with her was a gateway drug to Aggretsuko because Retsuko is a lot like Bernie (cute & skittish (voiced by Erica Mendez)), Haida is a lot like Caspar (best guy (voiced by Ben Diskin)), Ms. Washimi is a lot like Edelgard (in charge (voiced by Tara Platt)) and Inui is a lot like Annette (cute and kind (voiced by Abby Trott)).

Shortly after, Tara liked a days-old tweet where I mentioned I liked her "Edelgard feeds a cat" support conversation in Three Hopes.  This may or may not be coincidental.  I then had the thought this morning that when I was in Sunday School, I thanked God for video games, mostly these ones.

Now, I thank Him for Tara, Abby and Jeannie Tirado.

That's all for now, but I'll check in before the end of the month to reveal my favorite songs of the first half of the year.  Bon Jovi and Black Country Communion impressed with their albums, Orville Peck had a good duet with Noah Cyrus, Michael Schenker's revving up for what looks like a really impressive album for September and Brothers Osborne turned in a great Tom Petty cover, for starters.  See you later.
