Positives

     My brain keeps thinking of politics, so I'm going to write an entry about other things in my life in hopes that will calm me down for sleep tonight.  I'm on a weekly gaming cycle, Unicorn Overlord Sunday and Monday, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tuesday and Wednesday, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Thursday morning and Fire Emblem Warriors; Three Hopes Thursday through Saturday.

 

    I thought I could handle Unicorn Overlord on the second-lowest difficulty, but I got too frustrated and angry and put the game on the lowest difficulty, now everything is okay.  My favorite characters in my army are Berengaria; a tough axe-and-shield warrior who fights ruthlessly, yet loves her brother Travis, Celeste; a gryphon knight who is voiced by Byleth voice actress Jeannie Tirado, Hilda; a wyvern knight who is voiced by Amber Lee Connors, who voiced Furina and Focalors in Genshin Impact and Rosalinde, a tough dark elf who can freeze opponents, heal allies and is voiced by Cristina Vee, who is a singer, Sailor Mars in the Viz Media dubs, Shantae the Half-Genie Heroine and Miraculous Ladybug, also Merrin in Fire Emblem; Engage.  Berengaria's voice actress has not been in anything else I am familiar with, and at some point I aim to get Amalia, a giant woman with a giant sword, voiced by Dawn M. Bennett, the voice of Shez in Fire Emblem Warriors; Three Hopes, Nabbit in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Aigis in Persona 3 Reload and Hiroko Asami in Shin Ultraman.  To get her, you must best the Coliseum.  Right now, the foes currently have 5 members to their units while I have 4, so I'm hoping to even the odds before I return to make progress.

 

    I'm doing mostly the same old stuff I've always done in Smash Bros. Ultimate; Samus with Zelda, Edelgard-colored Byleth with Byleth and Mii Gunner Annette, Bowser with Mii Brawlers of WWE wrestlers Roman Reigns and Bayley and Mii Brawler Rise Kujikawa with Lucina and Chrom to celebrate Critical Role.  I'll sometimes use Mii Swordfighter Erza Scarlet with Mii Gunner Wendy Marvell on Delfino Plaza so it looks like Fairy Tail Dragon Cry and other teams based on something going on, last week I made a team of Bowser, Donkey Kong and Rosalina to represent the Titan protagonists of Godzilla X Kong - The New Empire (Godzilla, King Kong and Mothra, respectively) and had a Samus, Edelgard, Byleth team and a Edelgard, Samus, Zelda team.  Since Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a fighting game, I'll cover that here, too.  I mainly do it to celebrate Critical Role since Laura Bailey, Sam Riegel, Liam O'Brien and Marisha Ray are all in the game.  Recently, I've mostly played as Rise (Laura's character) and Mitsuru (Tara Platt's character).  I should work Aigis back into rotation, though she isn't voiced by Dawn M. Bennett here, she reminds me of meeting her.

 

    I'm mainly replaying Fire Emblem Warriors; Three Hopes to try to get Edelgard, Shez and Byleth all on the same team, in fact, I've decided if I fail, I am to turn the game off and try again.  I can presume from what I've seen on YouTube Byleth doesn't have new things to say to Edelgard, but I want them to fight together, because I've done a lot of Edelgard with Byleth stuff and on Valentines' Day 2023, I tweeted a post of them together and tagged Tara Platt and Jeannie Tirado and they both liked it.  They understand the importance that the same-gender romance of Edelgard and Byleth is to the world.  It calms me down, gives me hope and makes me believe there will be a day that I won't scream on the internet or feel the internet is just self-absorbed people whining that the world doesn't revolve around them, looking for excuses to hate everyone else and cut off all the "others."

 

    Saturday, I'm going to my second-ever Entertainment Convention.  I hope to meet and greet with Abby Trott, Colleen Clinkenbeard, AmaLee, Jim Cummings, Sarah Miller-Crews and hopefully, Erika Harlacher and maybe Erica Lindbeck.  I'm nervous, but I know I want to say things like Annette is my second-favorite character in Three Houses, and I started a playthrough purely to recruit her since you and Tara were in "New Wave," Erza may be my favorite anime character and I got into your Evangelion movies because of Godzilla; Battle Line, I love your cover of "Edge of Dawn," I play it all June and think of Edelgard, You were the first voice actor I learned the name of, I love you in Aladdin and Winnie the Pooh, Rescue Rangers and Goof Troop and Lion King, do you remember voicing a character named Dalles in a game called Ys 1 and 2?  I love your streams, I love the enthusiasm you have, I'm playing a game with Amber Lee Connor in it and that makes me think of Furina and Focalors and how Furina only has a larger than life personality because Fontaine thought that's how a goddess avatar should behave.  Hi, I'm the guy who took the screencap of you and Sarah reacting to Mufasa's death in Kingdom Hearts II.  I brought a Shinobu plush, a Mei Kamino Pop and a Godzilla Ultima Pop.  I loved his rampage that combined elements of Shin Godzilla and Godzilla; King of the Monsters, and I use Academy Shinobu with Nezuko in the Demon Slayer fighting game. 

 

    I'm going to see the Reno Aces at the Tacoma Rainiers with my Dad and his family in July, the Phillies at the Mariners in August, Experience Hendrix with Zakk Wylde at the Paramount in Seattle in September and possibly Judas Priest and/or Evanescence with Halestorm in October, we'll see.
